Denmark held its general elections yesterday on June 5th. Official results show the Social Democrats came first securing 26 percent of the vote, which earned them 48 of the 179 seats in Parliament. At 41, the party leader, Mette Frederiksen is set to be the country’s youngest ever prime minister ans the second woman in Denmark’s history to lead the country. What will be the next steps towards the formation of a governing coalition?
