Suisse : les premières étapes du déconfinement

Written by on 17 avril 2020

They will open up small shops, and hairdressers on April 27th. Schools will open up mid-May. Bigger shops and restaurants and bars will open up early June. For more than a week now, we have seen that the numbers are going down and people are really pushing for the rules to be relieved, especially on the business side. If we see that the numbers are increasing again, we will go back to certain rules and measures but I don’t think there is a high risk that we will have a second wave.

Sebastian estime que l’économie suisse ne pourrait pas supporter un confinement prolongé : “Every step towards a normal situation now, there is a high risk involved that the numbers are increasing so ideally you shouldn’t do it. You have this huge impact on the economy and you have to deal with that. You can’t lockdown an entire country for months, otherwise a lot businesses will die and people are really worried about this.
