Écrit par english sur 30 avril 2019
With a line-up bursting with young artists, L’Ère de Rien returned this weekend for its eighth edition. Bringing a range of hip-hop, punk, R&B and indie-pop, this festival has quickly become one of Rezé’s spring highlights. Between its music line-up and the added focus on graphic arts, L’Ère de Rien offers a unique variety of styles and talents, welcoming artists from across the globe to this annual two-day celebration.
Bringing his seductive blend of stripped-down jazz and neo-soul, Jacob Allen featured among Saturday’s line-up under the alias Puma Blue. Hailing from south London, Jake’s latest release “Blood Loss” (2018) comprises eight tracks of dreamy vocals and soft grooves that truly reflect the blossoming talent of young artists today. Before performing at the festival on Saturday, Puma Blue featured on The Euradio Show for a chat with Liv Cowle. In the interview above, the pair discuss shoegaze music, the trouble with describing lesser known artists, and then thoroughly break down his latest releases.
“Blood Loss” (2018) is available to listen to online, alongside his debut EP “Swum Baby” (2017) and various singles. For more info, simply click here.
