Interview with Eva Sérusier from Mon Film Festival

After its creation in 2016, Mon Film festival back and in full swing this week. The festival takes place in the Wazemmes neighbourhood of Lille each year, and is born out of the belief that film should be about community.
The concept of the festival is unique: it’s the local community who select the films, and arrange viewings in the comfort of their own home.
Bella Jewell spoke to one of the organisers of the festival, Eva Sérusier, about how the festival was created, and what to expect this year.
Mon Film festival 2019 kicked off on Thursday 17th October and will be running until Sunday 20th October.
