With her exhibition “Tears of the Tigris”, Emily Garthwaite, a British photojournalist, invites us on a journey through Iraq. She has crossed Iraq traveling down the Tigris river which runs from the North of the country down to the Persian Gulf. While capturing the beauty of the country and its people, her photographs also raise awareness on issues such as displacement and pollution.
For her work, Emily Garthwaite was awarded the "Prix photo Terre Solidaire". Her photographs are currently exhibited at the Cosmopolis in Nantes.
