The Euradio Show’s Album of the Week this week arrives on French airwaves from the Netherlands. On the 25th January 2019, Dutch outfit Eerie Wanda released their second LP, Pet Town — an exercise in isolated creativity; a marriage of the contentment and malaise birthed in solitude. Melodic and melancholic, Pet Town is a collection of ten contemplative titles driven by the imagination of Croatian-born singer Marina Tadic.
Jon Berry talks with Marina about the motivation behind Pet Town’s unconventional recording process, the sentiments that informed the melancholia of Eerie Wanda’s new sound, and what the future holds for the Dutch trio.
